Plant Lady

I’m a total plant lady – I have plants spread all over my tiny apartment. At my old place in Chicago, I had a sunroom, so I put as many plants as I could in there, and I think I over did it (but can you REALLY ever have too many plants?…) I grew up hunting for mushrooms in the woods behind my house with my mom, and we had the most GORGEOUS bed of flowers in the front of our house, enclosed in a circle bed in our drive way. My dream one day is to have a greenhouse in my backyard, with all different types of plants – cacti, succulents, palm trees, bamboo, hibiscus, sunflowers, magnolias… I could go on and on. I also want to have my own mini garden, where I can grow all my own herbs, fruits and vegetables. Along with my garden I want a chicken coop, so I can eat fresh eggs every morning. Living off the land, the way the good Lord intended it. One of my most important goals is to learn how to garden, so one day when I do have the space for all these plants, I can see this dream come to fruition.

That is why, when I saw this tee at The Silos during my recent trip to Waco, TX, I had to have it. It plainly states the type of person I am, and one day, I can have the garden to go along with it. I was walking down South Congress a while back, and some guy hanging out on the side of the street asked me if I had any weed LOL. I guess this tee can mean whatever you want it to mean, but in simple terms, just call me the crazy plant lady.

PS… If you’re a gardener and haven’t yet checked out Magnolia Market, you absolutely MUST. You can thank me later 🙂
