I’m definitely more of a private person when it comes to my life (at least, compared to other bloggers), so I’m trying to share a little more of my story with you guys, and to practice being a little more open. Which is why I thought it appropriate to share the #FollowMyStory campaign that RewardStyle launched to all of it’s members. This campaign is designed for influencers like myself, to give our readers/followers a chance to share our unique stories of how we got to here in our blogging journeys. So, see below for all of the deets:
When did you start your influencer business?
June 2017. It was during a transitional time for me. I had moved home for the summer after moving away from Chicago. I was no longer employed, and I had a lot of free time on my hands. So, I made this my summer project, that quickly turned in to a full-time job.
What inspired you to start?
Other influencers that I followed – I thought, if they are doing this, why can’t I?
Who helped you launch?
Claudia Graziano. She sent me soooo much great advice – I’m forever grateful for her openness, and taking the time to help out someone she barely even knew. It really says a lot about her character.
What were you doing before this?
I was in Chicago, working as a personal assistant.
What did you study?
Sport Communications & Sport Marketing, with a minor in Telecommunications. I thought I wanted to work in the sports arena, and I did, for the first few years out of school. It’s a great industry to be a part of, as a woman. They’re always looking to hire more women.
How has your life changed since launch?
