I’m SUPER excited for two reasons: one, it’s Friday (obvi), and the second, because I’m bringing you guys the ultimate #followfriday. I’m featuring ALL of my fave fashion + lifestyle bloggers, plus, a little info on the #1 fashion and lifestyle newsletter that I never start my day without reading.
I’ve compiled a list of my top 15 favorite bloggers, with a little background on why they’re so inspiring to me. I look to each and every one of these bloggers in one way or another for fashion, food, and blogging inspo – they keep me motivated throughout my own journey in this business. My hope is that they can bring you some inspiration as well, and at the very least, give you some more pretty photos to follow on your Insta feed. So, let’s get to it!
Payton Sartain, Hustle + Halcyon – California Cool Girl – Payton Sartain of Hustle + Halcyon is the essence of cool girl, California style, but her reach extends far beyond fashion. Her Health + Wellness section of her blog is filled with workouts, apothecary regimens, and to DIE for healthy, gluten free recipes (I’m a sucker for all things gluten free!) My goal is to extend my blog into more health and wellness as time goes on, and Payton is someone that definitely keeps me motivated to branch out beyond fashion. Based in LA, Payton is originally from Texas, which gives her extra points in my book 😉
Lo Shepherd, Lo & Behold – Insta Caption Queen – Lo Shepherd of Lo & Behold brings her followers a laid back style with a rock ‘n’ roll twist. A Florida native, currently residing in Orlando, her overall brand and aesthetic are soooo on point and consistent, and if you ever are in need of inspirational quotes, Lo’s Insta feed is THE place to go (seriously, go check it out!) From her style, to her Insta captions, to her photography, Lo brings MAJOR inspo to my every day life – and she will to yours, too!
Alexandra Ford Hamilton, Black Faun – Adventure Seeker – If you’re looking to add more stunningly beautiful scenery photos to your Insta feed, you’ve found just the girl to do it. You’ll find Alexandra Ford Hamilton of Black Faun, sporting her bohemian style alongside rocky beaches, majestic mountains and desert sunsets. Currently residing in San Diego, Alexandra will be your personal tour guide as she travels all around the west – and she’ll probably inspire you to plan your next road trip! I’ve already designated her as my go-to gal when I plan my next trip out west.
Jackie Gillum, Snackie Gillum – Food Photography Perfectionist – If you’re going to follow just one food photographer in life, Jackie Gillum of Snackie Gillum NEEDS to be it. I have yet to find another food photographer/blogger who has a more gorgeous feed of food than Jackie (and I’m not just saying that because she’s a fellow Hoosier, and someone I’m proud to know). She spends most of her time in Chicago, showcasing the latest and greatest eats around the city.
Kristen Ritchie, High End Hippie – High End Hippie Dreams – Never has a name been more fitting than Kristen Ritchie of High End Hippie. Residing in LA, Kristen was one of the first bloggers I ever followed, and since then, she has consistently been the BIGGEST inspiration for my personal style. Kristen has a true talent for outfit creation, and she remains a huge source of inspiration for how to style an outfit like a true High End Hippie. She’s also been a great resource to me for blogging tips. I decided to email her on a whim one day, hoping she would take some time to respond with advice. Not only did she respond, but she created a post on HER blog with my questions, and her answers – read the full post on her blogging tips.
Molly Hogan, Trendy Chickadee – Beach Lovin’ Boss Babe – Another LA blogger babe, Molly Hogan of Trendy Chickadee, is my (and should be everyone’s) go-to on how to run a CRAZY successful blog with class and the highest form of professionalism. Her aesthetic is like none I have ever seen before, sticking strictly to the California beach/hard light theme – her feed is a blogger’s aesthetic dream, and her look is the exact same throughout all aspects of her blog (something that is SUPER hard to achieve). I’m constantly referencing back to her brand to keep mine in check, in terms of how to run a successful business.
Lauren Johnson, Disco Daydream – The Coolest of all Cool Moms – When I first stumbled upon Lauren Johnson of Disco Daydream, first, I was mad at myself for not thinking of that amazing blog name first, but I also couldn’t understand how a mom of two young kids could make her style and life look so effortless. She’s the ultimate “cool mom,” her style is impeccable, and her little ones are truly the cutest (and I don’t even like kids that much, so that’s saying a lot coming from me). Out of Dallas, Lauren is the epitome of what “having it all” looks like.
Aleksandra Zee, aleksandrazee – Pure Badass – When I think of artist Aleksandra Zee of aleksandrazee, one word comes to mind – badass. She’s a woodworker, creating intricate, wooden wall decor, tabletops, and headboards – keep in mind that creating these wooden masterpieces isn’t for the faint of heart – it takes MAJOR skill and pure badassery to do what she does. If you’re a fan of the desert style’s natural color hues, Aleksandra’s Insta feed is pure perfection. Anyone who is able to make art a full-time career has immense talent, and aleksandrazee is no exception.
Adriana, The Gold Atlas – My Favorite Local – It wouldn’t be appropriate to feature my favorite bloggers without including someone from right here in Austin. Adriana of The Gold Atlas takes the prize in my book for best local blogger. I draw a lot of similar style and aesthetic from her brand. With her sunny and bright photos (my fave), and her laid-back Austin style, you gotta love those local Austin vibes that Adriana brings to your feed.
Courtney Halverson, Pretty Little Fawn – Perfectly Polished – Blogging in LA has quickly turned into the new acting – everyone aspires to be in the industry. But Courtney Halverson of Pretty Little Fawn has achieved BOTH of these things – her Insta bio says actress, but her blog is equally as successful. Courtney brings a perfectly polished sense of style to your feed, extending beyond fashion, to her gorgeous flat lays. She should also be the official style spokesperson for all things autumn – go check out her Insta feed and you’ll see what I mean.
Sage Coralli, So Sage – The Rule Breaker – As her bio explains, Sage Coralli of So Sage has always been a rule breaker, and this also carries over to her sense of style. Sage is known for pairing luxury brands with affordable pieces, creating classic looks with a rebel edge. Be sure to check out her Insta stories as well, as she brings you into her everyday life in Houston, with her friends, family, and her finance’s alter ego, Karen.
Stephanie, The Style Bungalow – Palm Beach Beauty – Follow Stephanie of The Style Bungalow’s feed, and you’ll feel like you’ve just stepped onto the movie set of 1942’s The Palm Beach Story. Stephanie introduces the classic, high end, South Florida style to everyone, regardless of geographic location. Coming from Palm Beach, Stephanie strays away from your typical south Florida beach theme aesthetic. Rather, you can expect to find tons of polished looks, and lots of shots on the famous, upscale shopping district of Worth Avenue. If you want to dress like a Palm Beach local, look no further than The Style Bungalow.
Halley Elefante, The Salty Blonde – Boho Beach Babe – Halley Elefante of The Salty Blonde draws her style inspo from her past and present. Originally from New York, Halley now resides in O’ahu, Hawaii, and her style and feed reflect those boho New York vibes, with a tropical twist. Add Halley to your feed, and you’ll be dreaming of sunnier skies and warmer weather – but hey, if you can’t live like her, you can at least DRESS like her.
Kimberly Lipides, Eat Sleep Wear – Beautifully Simplistic – Southern Cali bloggers are a dime a dozen, and when you take that risk to blog in that market, it can be extremely difficult to stand out. Kimberly Lipides of Eat Sleep Wear has no problem with this. Kimberly is a graphic designer, and if you visit her blog, her minimalistic style and modern, clean lines reflects her talent. In a sea of Instagram excess, Kimberly’s feed is clean and refreshing – just what we all need a little dose of in our daily lives.
Quigley, Officially Quigley – Practically Perfect In Every Way – Lastly, we have Quigley of Officially Quigley. Guys, she’s my FAVE. Her feed is nothing short of perfection, and I draw ALL of my major inspiration from her overall look and aesthetic. Quigley brings those sunny, southern Cali, desert vibes with every post and every look. She also is the definition of #eyebrowsonfleek – seriously though, her eyebrows are amazing. Straying away from popular trends, she defines her personal style as “Glamma” (Glamorous Grandma), and her staple outfit consists of large fedora hats, bold prints, and bright lip colors. I promise, you won’t be disappointed when you add Officially Quigley to your feed.
To close this post out, I wanted introduce you guys to my last #followfriday recommendation, which is my daily newsletter, the one that I literally can’t start my morning without reading first.
