If you haven’t heard by now, I am OBSESSED with all things Magnolia Market (if you didn’t know, now ya know). And today, I’m bringing you just that – my whole collection of home decor from the market. A little background on the Magnolia brand in case you’re not familiar – Magnolia Market was founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines, of the hit TV show Fixer Upper on HGTV (side note: I consider HTGV a part of the “big 4,” which also includes Food Network, Bravo and E!. And Fixer Upper is the top show at the top of the “big 4” of network TV watching – a.k.a. the best of the best). Chip and Jo are known for their “urban farmhouse” style of home decor, and with Chip’s demolition skills, and Jo’s eye for interior style, they literally make miracles happen – turning the worst house into each client’s dream home. The transformations are pretty amazing.
Long story short, their show skyrocketed to the top of the HGTV charts, making Fixer Upper the most-watched show EVER on HGTV. As a result of the show’s success, Chip and Jo expanded their Magnolia Homes brand, and turned it into a lifestyle. They opened The Silos in 2015 – located in downtown Waco, TX where fans of the show can shop urban farmhouse products in their HUGE warehouse-style store, eat cupcakes from their Magnolia Bakery (be prepared to wait in line for these delicious cupcakes for 20 minutes minimum!), enjoy lunch from one of the many food trucks parked on the lot, toss a football around on their enormous grass turf, walk through the Magnolia gardens, AND enjoy live music during their Silobration that occurs every October. Not to mention the long list of other side businesses Chip and Jo are a part of, it’s safe to say they have created an empire in the little town of Waco, TX – and have singlehandedly put Waco on the map as a national tourist destination for hundreds of thousands who visit The Silos EVERY week!
I’ve featured all of my favorite Magnolia Market products. Their products aren’t just limited to home decor – they also sell garden supplies, jewelry, bags, books and apparel, as you may have seen in my previous post, Real Talk: Living a Life of Simplicity, where I feature my fave Magnolia tees. I encourage you to check out their site, as there is SO much more than what I’ve featured below. What do you guys think of the urban farmhouse look? Talk soon friends!
