Happy Monday friends! How was everyone’s weekend?? I’m not even ashamed to say that most of mine was spent binge watching Riverdale on Netflix. Safe to say, it’s my latest obsession. It’s pretty much a show about small-town drama, except everyone in the town is super corrupt. So there’s like, a murder every other week. It’s sooo addicting guys, I literally CANNOT just watch one episode at a time. Disclaimer, I get SUPER in to shows. It’s kinda my thing. I’ve never been a big movie buff, but give me a show about high school drama, with a side of murder mystery, and I’ll be locked in my apartment for days, living vicariously through each character.
Now, on to this super fun graphic tee, that I cut into a muscle tank. I mean, I couldn’t NOT buy it, considering 1991 was the year I was born – it’s just too perfect. For all you 90’s babies out there, (or those of you old enough to remember the 90’s), what was your fave trend? I personally think the 90’s was one of the trendiest decades when it comes to fashion – chokers, velvet, mini skirts, crop tops & the iconic plaid skirt and blazer combo (thank you Clueless). I had THE most stylish pair of Doc Martens when I was a kid – they were red with white daisies on them. I would give anything to find those in an adult size today, cause I’d still totally rock them.
I’m also a big history buff, especially when it comes to pop culture. For 90’s pop culture, the thing that comes to mind is the music. The 90’s had one of the best decades of music. Moving away from the over-the-top and plain ridiculousness of the 80’s hair bands, the 90’s was a sweet rebellion from all the glitz and glam. Bands like Pearl Jam and Oasis, among many others, brought back the true rock ‘n’ roll attitude of the 70’s, with a more grungy sound. Although there’s a lot I don’t remember from the 90’s (I was no older than 9 at the turn of the century), grunge music is one of the best trends we got out of that decade. What is YOUR fave trend from the 90’s??
I’ve linked this look, plus more 90’s themed graphic tees below, so you can relive your childhood days, in all their 90’s glory.
